Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle Senior Consultant
Join us as a Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle Senior Consultant at Capgemini Invent, focusing on driving innovation in R&D, product development, and digital transformation.
YOUR ROLE

Provide expert advice, analysing business problems and developing data‑driven strategies.
Guide implementation to improve client performance, managing projects in R&D, Product Development and New Product Introduction, and in Digital Process improvement leveraging technologies (PLM, Simulation, AI, Digital Twin) and methodologies (DFX, MSD/MBSE, Agile/ASPICE).
Strategic Advisory:
Analyse client data, identify issues and propose solutions to meet strategic goals in R&D – from Cost Reduction to Product Development, from PLM/ALM to Digital Twin.
Project Leadership:
Manage project life cycles, define scope, oversee deliverables, budgets and timelines.
Solution Development:
Create actionable plans for R&D improvement, operational excellence or digital transformation.
Implementation & Change Management:
Drive execution of new processes, technologies and methodologies, supporting the organization to embrace change and fostering adoption.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships with C‑levels in the R&D field, lead meetings and present findings.
Analytical

Skills:

Strong ability to analyse complex data and situations.
Communication:
Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Team Leadership:
Coach and mentor junior consultants, guiding their work and development.
Collaborate across Capgemini Group entities (technological experts, data, designers, etc.) to deliver best solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

Minimum 6+ years in industrial sectors in Product Development or Digital Engineering Transformation, within consulting firms or major automotive / manufacturing brands.
Master’s degree in a STEM area, engineering preferred.

Experience with data management, analytics, AI concepts and preferably exposure to intelligent automation or agentic AI.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean are advantageous.
Fluency in Italian and English; additional language is a plus.
Proactive, always one step ahead of emerging trends.
