Project Lead, Senior Interior Designer – Milan Office
Full-Time | On-Site/Hybrid | Eligible to work in the EU
Studio Paolo Ferrari is expanding in Europe and seeking a Project Lead/Senior Interior Designer to join our new Milan office.
This role offers the opportunity to lead exceptional interior design project, working with international brands across luxury hospitality and residential sectors. You’ll collaborate with an award-winning team on projects that are conceptually rich, meticulously detailed, and created for some of the world’s most respected brands and clients.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution
· Fluency in Italian and English (written and verbal)
· 8-12+ years of Architecture/ Interior design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or client- facing role
· Software proficiency:
AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite and other Project management tools
· Lead and oversee the production of comprehensive drawing sets (DD/CD phases) in alignment with design intent and local regulations
· Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation
· Conduct site reviews and support during construction administration
· Ensure design documentation meets local code and permitting requirements
· Collaborate closely with Project Directors and Creative Director across global teams
We’re seeking a long-term collaborator to join our Milan studio under a Partita IVA arrangement, working closely with the team on projects from concept through completion. This is a full-time position based in Milan, Italy. Candidates must be based in Milan or willing to relocate. Must have legal authorization to work in Italy/EU. (We are not currently able to sponsor work visas for this position).
