We’re looking for a talented Europe & MEART Compliance Senior Specialist to join our Group Compliance team, based at Milan HQ and reporting to the Europe & MEART Compliance Manager. This is a unique opportunity that combines both corporate (HQ) and regional exposure in +20 countries across Europe and Middle-East, Africa, Russia and Turkey (“MEART”), involving complex compliance challenges across diverse regulatory requirements.
The role offers a strategic impact, contributing to the enhancement of governance, risk and compliance (“GRC”) frameworks that support global operations. It provides high visibility within the organization, with direct interaction with senior leadership and collaboration across multiple Functions to shape policies affecting diverse jurisdictions.
Technical Requirements
Internal controls and regulations, as well as GRC management frameworks, including conducting risk assessment as well as drafting Policies and Procedures;
Anti-corruption compliance, including management of 3rd parties (vendors, customers and sales agents), Conflict of Interests and Gifts and Entertainment disclosures;
Corporate Criminal Liability Laws, with specific reference to Lgs. Decree no. 231/01 and similar legislations (e.g. Ley Orgánica 5/2010 in Spain and Sapin II in France);
Export Control Compliance: (i) supporting business Functions affected by UN, US and EU economic sanctions and export control measures and (ii) monitoring the uniform application of the Export Control Procedure within Europe & MEART;
Whistleblowing management, conducting internal investigations through both face-to-face interviews and desk reviews.
You Will Also
Conduct compliance monitoring activities on Prysmian subsidiaries and 3rd parties aimed at testing the respect of compliance programs’ requirements, detecting risks and recommending corrective actions;
Manage whistleblowing concerns and conduct internal investigations, pursuant to Prysmian Helpline Policy;
Engage in compliance due-diligence in case of mergers and acquisitions (“M&As”);
Review the compliance-related sections of contractual commitments with 3rd parties and non-financial reporting disclosures;
Deliver training and awareness initiatives, both to senior executives and non-desk workers;
Work in cross-functional projects with different Departments, including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal and Sustainability;
Partner with Internal Audit and Risk Management Departments in risk-assurance activities.
Deliver reports for Management committees and internal control bodies, including Prysmian S.p.A. Control and Risk Committee.
You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are
Master’s degree in Law;
5+ years’ experience in Compliance, preferably working in/for multinational listed companies. Knowledge of manufacturing/industrial sector is a plus;
International mindset, flexibility and ability to deal with complex projects;
Ability to adapt to different environments and interlocutors;
Proactivity, curiosity and ability to take initiatives;
Precision, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
Team-player and results oriented;
Languages:
Fluency in Italian and English are mandatory. Additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Experience in projects aimed at ensuring the adherence to Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) standards across the supply chain (“Responsible Sourcing Compliance”) will be considered a plus.
