Procurement Specialist / Buyer for the site Carugate MI Italy

Our site in Carugate is a competence center for semisolids these include creams and gels.
Your key responsibilities

Request and negotiate supplier quotations to secure optimal commercial and delivery conditions
Create and issue purchase orders in SAP ensuring accurate pricing and confirmed delivery dates
Support management in resolving supply-related issues and ensuring material availability
Identify opportunities for new components or suppliers and propose corresponding implementation projects
Collaborate with global procurement teams on cost-saving initiatives and aligned solutions for supply challenges
Manage supplier and component master data with high accuracy and compliance
Perform data analytics on spend by supplier purchase type and department to support strategic decision-making

Your profile

Degree in Economics or a related field
Minimum 2 years of procurement experience (pharmaceutical industry is a plus)
Strong analytical abilities with solid Excel and reporting knowledge

Experience with MRP / ERP systems; SAP is a strong advantage
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Strong time management organization and ability to work under pressure
Proactive improvement-oriented mindset with strong teamwork skills
Good English and Italian skills both written and spoken
