Financial Accountant

Position: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Our client is a major multinational company specializing in the distribution of medical supplies. In order to strengthen the internal staff, he commissioned us to search for a Senior Accountant.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist the Finance Manager in managing local audit and tax activities. The role involves hands-on accounting tasks, SAP system usage, and internal reporting. A good level of English is required for documentation and communication within the company.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations and financial reporting
Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with Italian accounting standards
Help with month-end and year-end closing activities
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
Monitor fiscal deadlines and ensure timely submissions
Prepare internal reports and communicate effectively in English when needed

Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax in Italy
Good knowledge of Italian tax laws and accounting principles

Experience with SAP
Good command of English
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively and support senior management

The contractual framework and the remuneration will be commensurate with the experience gained. Smart working is not considered.
