The primary responsibility of the Accountant is to work with the Accounting Manager and the other team members in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments.
S/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals. Furthermore, the Accountant will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting records of wages & salaries
Treasury management, negotiating with banks
VAT settlements and Periodic VAT settlements communication
Checking VAT registers; VAT return
Tax payment
Relationships with Monidoc for e-invoicing issues
Control and monitoring of accounting records
Year-end adjustment entries (for Statutory Financial Statements purposes)
Keeping the Company’s statutory accounting books

Key Requirements

Intermediate knowledge of English (B2)
Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
High School Diploma and/or Degree Economics
Up to 4 years’ experience in similar Organizations
Good client services skills and ability to meet required deadlines
Knowledge of Accounting and budget account
Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.)
