Overview
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is based in Issaquah, WA, serving secondary school students on a contract basis from ASAP through June 17, 2026. The role provides an opportunity to work closely with middle school students and homebound learners, delivering specialized speech therapy services in a school environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct speech-language therapy to middle school students Tuesday through Friday, totaling approximately 725 minutes monthly.
- Spend Mondays working with homebound students, including 4 individuals (2 elementary and 2 secondary), focusing on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and eye gaze technology.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of student goals and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in meetings and coordinate services to support student success.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred.
- Familiarity with AAC devices and eye gaze technology is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with flexibility.
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE for secondary students.
- Monday hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Tuesday to Friday hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
