We are growing and looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the team. Key Responsibilities- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising licensed physical therapist to address patients’ rehabilitation goals.
- Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance physical function and promote recovery, including proper exercise instruction and progress monitoring.
- Apply various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and pain and discomfort management techniques.
- Document patient progress and communicate regularly with the supervising physical therapist to provide updates and collaborate on treatment plan adjustments.
- Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current license/certification in the state of practice.
