A welcoming and well-established independent school in Islington is seeking a Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic EYFS or KS1 teacher who is passionate about early years education and wants to work in a creative, nurturing and supportive school environment with small class sizes and strong pastoral care.

- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning experiences
- Support children's development through play-based and structured learning
- Assess, record and monitor pupil progress
- B.Ed, Cert Ed or PGCE
- Experience teaching within EYFS or KS1
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills
- Ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and professional development
- A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to school life
