Are you an experienced, confident and dedicated 1:1 SEN Specialist TA looking for a new role supporting a non-verbal child in Year 2?

This School is seeking a highly motivated and physically strong 1:1 SEN Specialist TA for an immediate start in a supportive primary school setting.

As a 1:1 SEN Specialist TA at this Primary School, you will work directly with a non-verbal pupil, implementing tailored strategies to support communication, behaviour and access to learning. Makaton training or experience is preferred, and strong physical capability is essential due to the nature of the support required.

You will collaborate closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to plan and deliver interventions, promote wellbeing, and build positive relationships that enable the child to thrive. Effective communication with professionals and families is key.

The role is full-time, term-time, long-term and based in Islington, easily accessible from Arsenal or Finsbury Park stations. The school is recently judged Outstanding by Ofsted, with a strong focus on inclusive practice and pupil development.
