Science Teacher - North London Secondary

Position: Science Teacher - North London Secondary (Permanent)
Plan and deliver effective lessons – teaching Science (often all three sciences: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students of varying abilities.
Assess and track student progress, offering feedback to help learners improve.
Use practical experiments and engaging activities to bring science to life.
Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.
Collaborate with the department to develop curriculum and share best practices.
Contribute to wider school life (e.g., STEM clubs, extra-curricular enrichment, open evenings).

Required Qualifications & Skills

Most North London secondary Science Teacher jobs list the following requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – UK or recognised equivalent.
A Science degree (often Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Sciences).
Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and experience teaching KS3/KS4 (plus KS5 if relevant).
