Teaching Assistant. Education & Training

Edu Talent is supporting a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Islington that is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible
.

The school caters for children and young people across both primary and secondary age ranges
, operating across two sites
, and supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school provides a structured, nurturing environment focused on meeting the individual needs of each learner.

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

• Work 1:1 or with small groups to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons

• Support pupils with personal development, independence, and social skills

• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

• Follow individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

• Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience is desirable but not essential)

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Immediate start available

• 93 - 100 per day
