Clerk of Works Job in London Clerk of Works job in London for a reputable multidisciplinary consultancy, joining their growing inspection and quality assurance team. The role offers a competitive package of up to £65,000  Hybrid Working  25 Days Holiday  Birthday Off  Christmas Shutdown  Private Healthcare. The consultancy provides services to both private and public sector clients across project management, cost consultancy, CDM/Health & Safety, fire safety, building surveying, and building control, operating nationwide from multiple UK offices.

Their quality and inspection team plays a key role in maintaining high standards across residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects. This position will report into senior leadership and offers strong long-term progression as the business continues to expand. Role & Responsibilities Undertake regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and UK building regulations Monitor contractor workmanship, materials, and construction methods Identify and report defects, non-compliance, or deviations from agreed standards Provide technical guidance to contractors and project teams Produce clear and detailed inspection reports Support quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project delivery Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or in a similar construction/site inspection role MRICS or MICWCI qualification essential Experience in faades and faade remediation advantageous Strong understanding of UK construction techniques, building regulations, and health & safety standards Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings Confident communicator with strong organisational skills What you get back Salary of up to £65,000 dependent on experience 25 Days Holiday  Birthday  Christmas Shutdown  Bank Holidays Hybrid working options Private Healthcare Pension scheme CPD, training, and chartership support Employee Assistance Programme Equipment and tools to support your role Apply If you meet the criteria above, send us your CV.
