Associate Building Surveyor

If you’re a Chartered Building Surveyor ready to step up, take ownership and lead a small team, this is the role that will put you at the centre of high-impact commercial work.
About the business
You’ll join a respected, forward-thinking consultancy with a busy pipeline of commercial projects across multiple sectors. Their London office is growing, and they need a confident leader who can drive quality, support junior surveyors and deliver excellent client outcomes. What you’ll do
• Lead and mentor a small London-based team of surveyors
• Oversee design, specification and contract administration work
• Manage dilapidations, schedules of condition and defect analysis
• Deliver remedial, refurbishment and maintenance projects across varied sectors
• Support project management across the full lifecycle
• Ensure high technical standards and excellent client service
• Help shape the continued growth of the London office
What you’ll bring
• MRICS qualification
• Strong experience in design, specification and contract administration
• Confident delivering dilapidations and core professional services
• Ability to lead, support and inspire more junior surveyors
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple workloads
• Comfortable being office-based most of the week in line with leadership duties
