Web Sphere Portal Lead

Location:
Irwindale, CA.

Duration:
Full time/permanent

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

• At least 4 years of experience in Websphere Portal Server.
• Strong technical hands on knowledge of Site core including best practices and features.
• Good understanding of Web development, information architecture, CMS and integrated technologies.
• Ability to map loosely defined business requirements to specific technical solutions.
• Experience in design and development of multi lingual / multi country websites.
• Strong experience in high level and detailed solution design and build validation. Experience in content migration projects.
• Strong Java experience and MVC framework.
• Demonstrated experience in integration using APIs and web services.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• At least 4 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Analytical skills.
• Must have at least 2 years WPS project related experience.
• Experience in version 2 is an advantage.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
