Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:15 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Position Overview
Seeking a skilled and reliable professional with mechanical experience to support production operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with light hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems related to production machinery, preferably within textile or vinyl/plastic film manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on production machinery
- Work with light hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Repair and maintain sewing machines (preferred)
- Assist Production Manager with workflow delegation and scheduling
- Support quality control processes
- Manage UPS and Fed Ex shipping systems and traffic coordination
- Perform office-related duties using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Mechanical experience in manufacturing environments (textile or vinyl/plastic film preferred)
- Knowledge of shipping systems (UPS, Fed Ex) and traffic management
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Production scheduling and management experience is a plus
