Lead SDET

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust end-to-end automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services.
• Develop scalable test automation scripts in line with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure automation coverage for smoke, regression, performance, and integration scenarios.

• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
• Identify root causes of defects and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Bruno, REST Assured, or other frameworks
  .
• Validate data flow, error handling, performance, and integration with internal/external services.

• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or Git Lab CI
  .
• Ensure tests run reliably in pipelines and improve pipeline efficiency.

• Work with performance testing tools (e.g.,
  JMeter, Gatling, K6
  ) to measure system scalability and stability.
• Analyze bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams for optimizations.

• Maintain clear documentation for test strategies, frameworks, scripts, and test cases.
• Provide clear and detailed test reports
  , quality metrics, and automation dashboards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Web Driver, Serenity BDD, REST Assured
  , or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts
  , data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in API testing
  , microservices testing
  , and database validation (SQL/No
  
  SQL).
• Experience with JMeter or other performance testing solutions.
• Familiarity with Git
  , Dev Ops practices, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
