Our client is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas.

• Design, develop and maintain an automation framework
• Create automated processes for triggering nightly runs and monitor them regularly
• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to make sure QA and Automation is an integral part of the process
• Create comprehensive test strategies for new development and ensure regression coverage across platforms
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices using Docker and Jenkins
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide constructive feedback to junior Automation Engineers along with mentoring and sharing best practices for driving continuous improvement
• Analyze test results, identify framework issues, and provide recommendations for resolution
• Troubleshoot and develop solutions for automation against difficult-to-automate areas of the product
• Identify and communicate automation needs and challenges and follow them through to resolution
• Work within a Scrum based SDLC and report on automation progress to management and during sprint ceremonies

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating simple to medium complexity processes
• Experience in test automation and building frameworks from scratch
• Hands‑on development experience with Typescript and JavaScript or Typescript based automation frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with the Cypress.io automation framework
• Experience with backend API automation using Python or other language(s)
• Proficient with Git and Bitbucket for version control
• Experience in security/penetration, performance, and load testing
• Strong understanding of software test automation best practices
• Experience with API testing is preferred
• Experience with AWS, Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines is preferred
• Familiarity with handling sensitive data is preferred
• Knowledge of e-commerce and point of sale hardware testing is preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is between $43.00 and $63.00
. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
