assisting with deliveries for other departments; and performing light custodial work. Duties typically will require lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of mechanical maintenance experience are required. Sheetrock finishing and painting experience beneficial. Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Class C Texas driver's license and be able to respond to after-hours service calls concerning building maintenance emergencies.
Duties may involve access to sensitive Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS), which requires that a thorough background check be conducted. Candidates will be subject to a criminal history check. Must not have any criminal conviction above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or any Class B misdemeanor within the past 10 years; other convictions may also be considered.
PAY GRADE GG14 / FULL PAY RANGE $21.94 - $30.94 PER HOUR
