CNC Preventive Maintenance Service Technician
Preventive Maintenance Service Technician contributes to the success of Hartwig by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the Hartwig team to repair and inspect their equipment to prevent expensive machine failures from occurring. This position supports our Southern Region. It is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical maintenance experience who wants to learn about CNC machines, and is based in the Dallas, TX area.
Mainresponsibilities
- Conduct efficient and timely preventive maintenance on CNC machine tools, including changing fluids, filters, and checking accuracy of calibrations.
- Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes.
- Train and instruct customers on preventive maintenance best practices and Hartwig services.
- Schedule preventive maintenance customer visits.
- Conduct inventory counts.
- Complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system daily.
- Travel to customer sites, usually within 2 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel.
- Above average mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Relevant mechanical or preventive work experience, inspection and/or repair experience.
- Comfortable working in dirty, hot or cold environments.
- Good driving record and valid driver's license to maintain fleet vehicle insurability.
