Physical Security Associate II

The Physical Security Associate II is the subject matter expert within the Security Team and is responsible for ensuring business continuity by monitoring and auditing Security trackers, checklists, and reports. The Physical Security Associate II monitors the day-to‑day tasks and empowers the Security Team to drive productivity and growth through coaching and mentorship. This role is also responsible for training all new and existing team members.

The Physical Security Associate II will serve as the primary backup for Security Associates during gaps in coverage and for on-call rotations, during and after regular business hours.

• Leads mitigation efforts around alarm functions, actively identifying and reducing false or defective alarms. Reports false alarm results to the field.
• Approve job orders for on-site technicians when scope of work is outside of rider up to $1K.
• Review invoices for accuracy against work orders. Prepares for Director approval and routes for payment.
• Maintain audit checklist on permits and inspections.
• Assist the Director with administrative support with Loss Prevention reporting and alleged criminal activity.
• Ensure all audits, reports, and assignments are submitted on or before the due date.
• Monitor Security trackers daily for completion and accuracy; leads follow up efforts with Security Team as necessary.
• Monitor the Security Team’s shared inbox to ensure security associates are responding and/or resolving issues timely; assign tasks as needed.
• Supports field business partners with gathering facts during security incidents.
• Escalates the need for guard service to director for rate approval.
• Leads Mock Scam Calls for field leadership, maintaining an accurate progress report.
• Serves as a point of escalation to both internal and external stakeholders.
• 50% of responsibility is providing backup support for Physical Security Associates, including on‑call rotation and shift coverage.

• High school education or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
• Minimum two years Corporate Security experience or equivalent experience working in a Security/Alarm Services industry.
• Experience effectively communicating and interacting with all levels of the department and organization.
• Experience multi‑tasking and meeting deadlines with minimal direction in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience using Word/Excel/Outlook/Smartsheet.
• Experience with efficient and accurate data entry and documentation.
• Working knowledge of alarm systems required.

This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work align with store hours of operation, typically 9am-7pm M-F and 9am-5pm Sat. This position might require evening hours and weekend work.
