Business Development Manager, Staffing & Workforce Solutions

Location: Irving, TX
Compensation: Competitive base plus uncapped commission

Our client is a growing staffing and workforce solutions organization seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth within a defined market. This role partners closely with branch leadership to expand market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and consistently deliver against sales performance expectations.

The ideal candidate brings a strong hunter mindset, excels in consultative selling, and thrives in a metrics-driven, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships within the local market
  • Execute proactive prospecting strategies including cold outreach, in-person visits, and virtual meetings
  • Maintain a high level of weekly sales activity, including first-time meetings with prospective customers
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline aligned to revenue and growth targets
  • Partner with internal recruiting and operations teams to deliver customized workforce solutions
  • Prepare and present tailored sales proposals and presentations
  • Track sales performance metrics and participate in weekly sales review meetings
  • Stay informed on market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs to uncover new opportunities

  • Proven success selling services in a competitive, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently generate new business through outbound sales efforts
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while meeting activity and revenue goals
  • Customer-focused mindset with a long-term relationship approach
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office 365 tools
  • Solid business judgment and understanding of professional services or staffing environments
