Business Development Manager, Staffing & Workforce Solutions
Location: Irving, TX
Compensation: Competitive base plus uncapped commission
Our client is a growing staffing and workforce solutions organization seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth within a defined market. This role partners closely with branch leadership to expand market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and consistently deliver against sales performance expectations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong hunter mindset, excels in consultative selling, and thrives in a metrics-driven, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing :- Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships within the local market
- Execute proactive prospecting strategies including cold outreach, in-person visits, and virtual meetings
- Maintain a high level of weekly sales activity, including first-time meetings with prospective customers
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline aligned to revenue and growth targets
- Partner with internal recruiting and operations teams to deliver customized workforce solutions
- Prepare and present tailored sales proposals and presentations
- Track sales performance metrics and participate in weekly sales review meetings
- Stay informed on market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs to uncover new opportunities
- Proven success selling services in a competitive, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to consistently generate new business through outbound sales efforts
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while meeting activity and revenue goals
- Customer-focused mindset with a long-term relationship approach
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office 365 tools
- Solid business judgment and understanding of professional services or staffing environments
- Compensation: Base salary plus commission with strong earning potential
