Responsibilities- Establish strategic partnerships for the company’s ocean and freight forwarding business.
- Lead by example, embrace change, and actively listen to business objectives.
- Develop and manage global customer accounts, driving growth through high‑level strategies.
- Prospect target customers through proactive networking and leverage existing relationships within the Fed Ex enterprise.
- Develop sales strategies for deploying Fed Ex services to ocean and freight customers.
- Ensure attainment of revenue and margin goals for assigned accounts.
- Formulate comprehensive business plans for each account.
- Lead sales activities, competitive pricing strategies, and coordinate customer‑based strategies globally.
- Engage with senior‑level customers to assess satisfaction, manage critical situations, and proactively address needs.
- Collaborate across functional areas in solution development, proposals, and pricing models.
- Manage proposal and presentation processes, ensuring accurate data and up‑to‑date information.
- Provide weekly reporting on account stages for new business development.
- Drive sales teams to energize and move new customers through the sales cycle professionally.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 8+ years of ocean and freight forwarding sales experience.
- Experience selling to C‑Suite executives is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with logistics processes, solutions, and project management.
- Strong understanding of ocean freight import process from issuance to final delivery.
- Successful global solution selling to varied customer sizes and complexities.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve major account sales goals and execute customer sales strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing effective relationships with customers and employees.
- Strategic planning and sales management skills.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding processes and ocean freight logistics.
- Experience in global sales and account management.
- Industry‑specific knowledge of the transportation and logistics sector.
Pay: $10,403.00 – $20,432.63 USD Monthly.
Location: Remote, based in Dallas – requires some travel.
