Overview
The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Event Sales Manager in planning and executing all private dining and large party events. They handle initial sales leads that come into the store, including Triple Seat (event booking software) and telephone inquiries. The Event Sales Coordinator organizes booking documents and closes all event sales, gathers weekly BEOs for manager meetings, and creates floor charts for upcoming events.
The Event Sales Coordinator also develops and maintains business relationships inside and outside of the restaurant by participating in offsite store-sponsored events when the Event Sales Manager is not available.
- Close Event Financials from the previous day/weekend
- Ensure the accuracy of all Booking Documents and place in Events Binder
- Send follow-up emails to guests to gather feedback and promote future bookings
- Triple Seat events in Open Table to ensure continuity
- Send follow-up emails and calls to guests who have not finalized booking or are missing essential booking documents and details
- Gather BEOs and Menus for weekly Operations team meetings for the booking of all parties under 20 in the main dining room
- Respond to all leads that come through on Triple Seat
- Assist in site tours when the Sales Manager is not available
- Assist in event bookings of larger parties when the Event Sales Manager is not available

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in the hospitality or customer service
- Excellent organizational and planning skills in a high-volume environment
- The ability to anticipate problems and make contingency plans
