Position: Global Sales Executive (19373)

This position is designed for an industry expert capable of facilitating a leading role in the sale of PGL's services throughout a major geographical area. The Global Sales Executive will provide superior customer support to business partners and prospective clients, focusing on building strategic partnerships with existing clients and establishing new ones with businesses in need of customized logistics solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Contact potential and existing customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and interests.
  • Answer questions regarding products, prices, availability, and terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Follow up with clients after sales to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain and develop business relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage key customer accounts and ensure sales strategies are executed effectively.
  • Plan and implement sales programs for various product lines.
  • Evaluate new products and market opportunities internationally.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to sales and service.
Work Activities
  • Discover global supply solutions concerning transportation and logistics.
  • Collaborate across departments to integrate logistics solutions with business systems.
  • Negotiate with customers to improve efficiency and sustainability while maximizing margins.
  • Analyze financial impacts of logistics changes and recommend transportation modes and routes.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders via various channels.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with clients and partners.
Qualifications

Experience:

1-3 years in sales within a 3PL or Freight Forwarding organization.

Education:

Industry-related degree or certification preferred.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing principles, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in English language and business management principles.
  • Active listening, persuasion, negotiation, and complex problem-solving skills.
Tools & Technology
  • Proficiency with desktop/laptop computers, communication tools, ERP, CRM, and logistics software.
