Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate / Pawnbroker positions available. We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The role involves engaging with customers and assisting with inquiries and problem resolution across a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay will depend on location, qualifications, and experience. Commission information is provided separately in the Commission Plan.

We are seeking a full-time sales associate to join our team. The position is based in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The successful candidate will greet, engage, and assist customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, and will work with a wide variety of merchandise.

The position offers hourly pay with additional commission opportunities.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; collaborates to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training and other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Willing to work across multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on the gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
