Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Customer Service Associates play a key role in delivering exceptional service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our computerized systems. In addition, the successful candidate will be cross-trained to perform cashier duties, providing flexibility and support across the front-end operations.
This position is part-time with the potential for up to full-time hours based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Process customer transactions, sales, and refunds through cash registers
- Operatescannersand credit card/debit card terminals
- Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
- Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
- Maintain front end department merchandise
- Answering front desk phone and directing calls
- Assist other departments and functions as required
- Able to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders
- Strong mathematical skillsandbasiccomputer system knowledge
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Problem solving and decision making
- Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset
- Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for4 hours, lift medium size merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a variable shift schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends as per business needs.
