• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist customers with bakery purchases, clean shelving and display cases
• Clean, fill, and rotate self-serve displays in the front of the store and adjacent to the bakery
• Work with customers to take special orders
• Coordinate with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate
• Support department cleanliness, including cleaning floors as needed
• Uphold safety and food-handling standards in the bakery area

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co-workers
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food
