Full time Prep Person: Candidates MUST have kitchen assistant experience in a Long Term Care environment to be considered for employment.

Evening shift: 11-7:30 - Shifts available now!

Schedule is every other weekend off.

The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Dietary Services Manager, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

• Clean and prepare kitchen area and dishes
• Assist cooks in preparation and delivery of meals
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Dietary Services Manager.
• Ensure that all food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.

• Assists in preparation of meals in accordance with planned menus.
• Assists in preparation and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Assist in preparing food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
