Food Prep Person

Our franchise organization, Corral Holdings dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

The quality, quantity, freshness, tastiness, and presentation of our products significantly impact guests' perceptions of Golden Corral. The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral, including cutting, slicing, peeling, etc. The freshness of our Cold Choice Buffet reflects our commitment to high-quality, fresh offerings.

Operational Excellence:

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains inventory of prep items following the Prep Production Guide and updates as directed by management.
• Ensures optimal yield of products throughout the product cycle.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Stores all food items in approved, covered containers.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
• Notifies management of discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, or waste.
• Assists in maintaining a full, clean buffet in collaboration with Buffet Attendants.
• Cleans and organizes prep areas, coolers, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Follows duty roster, cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Adheres to just-in-time delivery responsibilities and local health laws.

Guest Service:

• Performs administrative tasks and assists guests during meal periods.
