Labor and Delivery
Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in the L&D for this role.
Shift - 3 12 hour night shifts, 7p-7a.
We provide relocation assistance for eligible candidates moving to accept a role with Baylor.
Our Labor and Delivery unit is a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients. The leadership team fosters learning, mentoring, and building every team member.
Labor and Delivery
Patient Population: OB patients >20 weeks gestation
Patient Ratios: 1:2 (L&D); 1:2-3 (OB Triage — contingent on patient acuity, phase of care and census)
Number of Beds: 10 L&D rooms, 2 OB Triage
Department Specifics: Fast-paced, positive teamwork, collaboration intra- and interdisciplinary, good communication, accountable, flexible, open-minded to problem solve in patient care, supportive of a culture of safety.

Registered Nurse Requirements
- 1.5–2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably at level III or higher
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- RN – Registered Nurse
- BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required within 30 days of hire)
- AWHONN intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (required within 30 days of hire)
