Tuscan Surgery Center at Las Colinas is hiring a Registered Nurse Preop/Pacu.

Tuscan Surgery Center at Las Colinas is a joint venture between Baylor and USPI, offering a collaborative setting that prioritizes patient care and professional growth in a state-of-the-art facility with operating and procedural rooms focused on GI surgery, including Colon & Rectal Surgery and Gastroenterology.

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Deliver total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• Two years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
