Job Summary and QualificationsThe RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department standards and scope of practice. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, the RN provides individualized, compassionate care using established models. The RN advocates for patients and supports organizational values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role:- Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
- Assess environment for safety risks and compliance.
- Manage pain assessments and interventions.
- Identify signs of abuse or neglect, reporting as necessary.
- Perform procedures and monitor patient responses.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and notify providers of adverse reactions.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Manage care teams and oversee delegation.
- Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate ongoing care with healthcare providers and community support systems.
- ACLS within 90 days, BLS within 30 days, NRP within 90 days, EFM within 1 year.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree or higher.
