Marketing Specialist - Events

Responsibilities

• The Marketing Specialist plans and executes events including trade shows, customer appreciation activities, customer training and other events as directed.
• Develop and drive marketing events from inception to completion. This includes but is not limited to contracting, booth selection, staffing, supplies, creative needs and promotional materials.
• Creates and distributes event communications for team members including event goals and schedules.
• Sources and secures vendors for select events. Communicates with vendor and community partners on attendance opportunities.
• Maintains master event calendar.
• Coordinates with product marketing teams to keep website and social media pages up to date.
• Analyzes event results, distributes leads, manages post event meetings and surveys providing feedback to product marketing teams.
• Reconciles event budgets.
• Performs all other duties assigned in a professional and efficient manner
• Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications
• 2-3 years’ experience in event planning or marketing
• Experience with event coordination preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects and deadlines
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills required:
  Office 365 products including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both in and outside the office
• Up to 20% travel
