General Production/Prepper Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Production/Parts Prepper to join our team. Initially, you will focus on cleaning and preparing parts. Over time, you will be trained to disassemble, assemble, and repair small motors, honing your troubleshooting skills in the process.
Responsibilities- Clean and prepare parts for assembly.
- Utilize hand tools and some power tools effectively.
- Safely lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs.
- Examine parts for cracks, wear, rubbing, or deviations from specified parameters.
- Measure and record machined parts fits.
- Prepare parts for assembly with precision and care.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with prepping and mechanic work
- Troubleshooting skills
- Electric motor mechanic expertise
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical Assembler
- Experience as a Motor Mechanic
Enjoy competitive pay rates with overtime compensation for working over 8 hours on weekdays and additional pay for working on Saturdays and Sundays. Experience growth opportunities within a supportive company culture.
Work EnvironmentWork in a non-climate controlled facility. First shift hours are 6:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays. Be prepared for a dynamic work environment with ample opportunities for overtime.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
