General Production Worker Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the plant that do not involve operating a forklift. Your duties will include stacking products, wrapping and palletizing, building custom skids, and using a manual pallet jack to move materials. You will also be packing cardboard materials into boxes and preparing them for shipment.

• Stack products and wrap them for shipment.
• Palletize and build custom skids.
• Use a manual pallet jack to transport materials.
• Pack cardboard materials into boxes and prepare them for shipment.
• Inspect and ensure quality of packed products.
• Work with industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Engage in general labor tasks throughout the warehouse.

• Experience in production, general labor, packaging, and inspection.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand on feet all day.
• Self-motivated with a long-term commitment to growth within the company.

• Experience in machine operation and working with industrial equipment.
• Interest in growing with the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
