NCH has an open position as a Shipping Clerk at our Irving, TX facility. The shipping clerk position will report to the Shipping Supervisor and plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing our assets in areas including equipment and controls, operating supplies, and inventory control. It also contributes to continuous improvement in the organization. Preparing and Loading trucks for shipment.
Job Duties- Prepare various loads to be shipped.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
- Freight check shipments.
- Inventory and cycle count.
- Use computer in all aspects of inventory, order processing system, e‑mail, and other computer-related functions; typing required.
- Work in any area of the department as needed.
- Communicate with Transportation and other Departments.
- Other warehouse activities as management deems necessary.
- Must be very detail oriented and accurate.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Oracle, Clear Orbits and precision knowledge preferred.
- Heavy lifting: handle drums up to 400 lbs while lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to handle ever-changing, multiple priorities.
- Team player.
- Ability to work overtime when required (especially Fridays).
- High school diploma / GED.
- Willingness to work overtime.
