Estate Planning Attorney

Overview

Estate Planning Attorney position with a Dallas law firm. Dallas-based boutique tax and estate planning firm. Salary $90,000 - $140,000 per year.

• Draft and negotiate agreements relating to the sale, acquisition, leasing and financing of commercial real estate
• Draft corporate documents, including partnership agreements and corporate resolutions
• Minimum of 2-5 years of estate planning experience including wills, trusts and probate matters
• Represent clients in probate court and other legal proceedings related to estate planning
• Minimum of 1-3 years of transactional experience in real estate and corporate matters (a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Work with clients directly with the supervision of senior attorneys
• Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials
• Enjoy working with clients from a variety of ethnic backgrounds (proficiency in another language is a plus)
• Identify valuable law firm and title relationships and investment opportunities
• Oversee and accelerate new business growth by managing, developing and implementing initiatives for core practice areas
• Identify current influencers and referral sources
• Develop new referral sources (inbound and outbound)
• Identify local market opportunities for new business development

• Experience drafting and negotiating real estate and corporate documents
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus
