We are currently seeking bright, motivated wireless engineers to join our growing team in Dallas, TX.
Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a QA Engineer I located in Dallas, TX. The QA Engineer will be responsible for field testing, test execution, quality assurance, manual and software testing, post‑processing logs, inventory management, shipment coordination, and daily reporting. Additional duties may include travel as required.
Qualifications- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent Word and Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with mobile device testing is a plus
- Experience with automation testing tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of 3G, 4G, 5G network technology
- Experience in test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, software testing, modem, network and application log analysis
- Experience with Media Tek, Samsung, and Qualcomm chipsets
- Experience in creating detailed technical reports
- Basic knowledge of Python, ability to read and understand code with intention to make minor configuration changes to scripts
- Some basic knowledge of Visual Basic and creating Excel macros
- Experience with Power Bi or other tools for creating reports from CSV or DB
- Basic knowledge of DB architecture and how to formulate SQL query
- Strong familiarity with 5G Data Performance KPIs and Call Performance KPIs
- Basic understanding of e911 procedure and LPP
- Experience troubleshooting network and device side issues
- Familiar with JIRA systems
- Familiar with writing defect reports and providing excellent communication to the customer
- IMS protocol understanding
- Preferred experience and knowledge of WiFi Calling
Pay Range: $40,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
