We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Manager to lead and scale our Dev Ops function across both onshore engineers (2–3 FTEs) and offshore Dev Ops engineers (2–3 resources via a vendor partner). This role is responsible for building a high‑performing Dev Ops organization that ensures reliable deployments, stable environments, automation maturity, and production excellence. The Dev Ops Manager will drive CI/CD optimization, cloud infrastructure strategy, release governance, monitoring, and operational resilience while managing vendor accountability and performance.
This leader will balance technical depth with operational discipline, improving speed without sacrificing reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop 2–3 onshore Dev Ops engineers.
- Manage 2–3 offshore Dev Ops engineers through a vendor partner, ensuring clear SLAs and deliverables, performance accountability, quality and documentation standards, and established onshore/offshore collaboration workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement in Dev Ops maturity and operational standards.
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning.
- Reduce deployment risk and improve deployment success rate.
- Partner with Development, QA, and Product teams to align release strategies with business priorities.
- Ensure environments are secure, cost‑optimized, stable, and scalable.
- Lead post‑incident reviews and root cause analysis.
- Build operational dashboards that provide leadership visibility into deployment success rates, incident trends, performance metrics, and infrastructure utilization.
- Ensure Dev Ops processes align with security best practices.
- Bachelor of Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years in Dev Ops, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience.
- Experience managing offshore or vendor‑based engineering teams.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or both).
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation, etc.).
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes preferred).
- Experience leading production incident response and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of release governance and deployment risk management.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Power Shell, Python, or Bash.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with C#.NET Core and web application development.
