McKesson is seeking a Director, Data & Analytics to lead enterprise analytics, AI/LLM solution development, and data‑driven innovation in support of Internal Audit and broader business partners. Reporting to the VP, IT Internal Audit, this leader will drive the modernization of data platforms, implement AI‑enabled insights, and strengthen data governance across the audit lifecycle. The Director serves as a trusted business partner who can translate complex technical concepts into strategic, actionable insights.

• Develop and execute the data, analytics, and AI strategy for Internal Audit and cross‑functional stakeholders
• Lead creation of enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards, analytics models, automation, and data pipelines
• Design and implement AI/LLM‑based tools (e.g., generative AI copilots, NLP models) to enhance audit quality and efficiency
• Partner with Technology and Audit leaders to align data strategy with risk and business priorities
• Ensure adherence to McKesson data governance, privacy, and AI standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing analytics team while fostering innovation and continuous improvement
• Deliver executive‑level presentations and insights to senior leaders
• Automate and standardize key analytics workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Proven track record of leading and upskilling high‑performing teams
• Strong ability to build collaborative relationships and influence leaders across the enterprise
• Expertise in Power BI, Python, SQL, Azure data tools, and AI/LLM solution development
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business recommendations
  
  Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and managing multiple complex initiatives

• Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience in analytics, data science, AI/ML, or business intelligence roles, and 4+ years of management experience leading analytics or technical teams

• Experience with AI/LLM development strongly preferred
• Experience in Internal Audit, Risk, or Compliance is a plus
• Experience with cloud‑based data ecosystems (Azure preferred)
• Experience working in Databricks, Workiva, and/or SAP is a plus

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities may be offered.
