Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

• Develop and implement database solutions for the ROCK ICG Data Command Center Portal application.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various source systems into the central repository.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliations, and standardization procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in whiteboard design sessions with business stakeholders to analyze and identify appropriate source systems for data extraction.
• Analyze business requirements and project objectives outlined in BRDs (Business Requirement Documents).
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, data analysts, and source system experts, to understand data flow and system functionalities.
• Identify and document key data metrics, insights, use cases, data transformation logic, and visualization requirements.
• Design and structure the database and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes based on business requirements.
• Define data specifications, modeling rules, and business rules for data onboarding into the data visualization portal (Qliksense/Tableau).
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design effective visualizations that meet business needs.
• Telecommuting/Hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing database development and maintaining ETL processes.
• Designing and developing ETL processes using Talend, including analyzing business requirements, identifying source systems, designing data mappings and workflows, and implementing data quality checks and standardization procedures.
• Developing and implementing database solutions using SQL, including designing and creating database schemas, writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Utilizing Big Data technologies like Kafka to support real-time data streaming and processing solutions and data-driven decision-making.
• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, and Harness.
• Utilizing data visualization tools like Qliksense or Tableau to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements to support conducting whiteboard sessions, documenting requirements, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, including participating in Agile sprints, managing tasks, and collaborating effectively with development teams.
