Application Developer – Front‑End/UI Development

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit to help shape the future of banking technology. This role is a critical part of Citi’s digital transformation and involves working with modern architectural frameworks, cloud‑native development, microservices, and advanced technologies such as Generative AI.

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of application development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgment.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post‑implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality.
• Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular.
• Implement reusable components and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Optimize front‑end performance and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional applications.
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems.
