Proposal Manager

Overview

Lead the end-to-end development of proposal responses (bids, RFPs, RFQs), marketing materials, and related activities to support business growth. Combine creativity and analysis to deliver high-quality, compliant, and compelling content under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Manage the full lifecycle of proposal and marketing processes from opportunity assessment to final submission.
• Analyze client requirements to develop aligned, strategic proposal and marketing content.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical, business development) to create clear, persuasive, and visually appealing materials.
• Oversee project timelines, delegate tasks, and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain templates, content repositories, and CRM data (Salesforce) for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead proposal review meetings, “go/no-go” decisions, and manage access to proposal platforms.
• Serve as primary contact for proposal and marketing inquiries, facilitating communication with clients and partners.
• Conduct quality reviews and analyze past proposals for continuous improvement.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development strategies.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Effective leadership and team collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of AEC proposal lifecycle and contracting processes.
• Understanding of sales and marketing principles.

• BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years in proposal management/development; 1-2 years in AEC industry preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, CRM, and Word Press.
• Experience with Salesforce, Deltek, Google Analytics, and SharePoint is a plus.
