Our client, a leader in data-driven solutions, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data & Analytics department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
OverviewJob Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Irving, TX - Hybrid

Responsibilities- Develop advanced database solutions in MS SQL Server & Oracle, including complex stored procedures, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization for large datasets.
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines (ETL/warehousing) using tools like SSIS and Oracle ETL, ensuring data quality and supporting analytics and reporting.
- Design and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and security features to deliver insightful visualizations.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional scrum teams, leveraging Agile principles to ensure continuous improvement and successful project delivery.
- Operationalize AI & Machine Learning outputs within data platforms, integrating models and delivering predictive dashboards with governance and monitoring.
- Proficiency in advanced database development with MS SQL Server & Oracle, including TSQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, data quality checks, and data modeling techniques such as star and snowflake schemas.
- Strong Power BI skills, including data modeling, DAX, report/dashboard design, and security implementation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams, participating actively in ceremonies and embracing adaptive planning.
- Experience operationalizing ML models, integrating Python/R models, or cloud ML services, and delivering insights through dashboards.
