Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Irving, TX

Type: Contract

What’s the Job?

• Monitor systems for equipment failures, performance issues, and program errors.
• Prepare, stage, set up, start up, and shut down hardware (racks, drives, switches) following checklists and protocols.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and replace faulty components according to standard procedures.
• Assist programmers and analysts by testing and validating new systems or programs.
• Execute decommissioning tasks, hardware refreshes, and quality checks to ensure proper grounding, cabling, labeling, and deployment standards.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Associate degree in computer programming or related training preferred).
• 1–4 years of experience supporting IT equipment, data center operations, or related technology.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
• Proficiency with MSOffice (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and flex to non‑standard hours including weekends/holidays.
