We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Organizational Change Management professional to support our technology organization with high‑quality strategic materials, organizational communications, and visually compelling presentation content.
This contractor will work closely with leaders at multiple levels — from senior technology executives to program, product, and engineering teams — to translate complex strategies and technical initiatives into clear, engaging, and action‑driving communications for broad internal audiences.
The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller, a strong visual communicator, and a proactive partner who excels in ambiguous environments and can drive clarity quickly. Experience in organizational change management (OCM) and technical transformation environments is highly valuable.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities- Build polished, enterprise‑ready slide decks for executive forums, technology all‑hands, stakeholder readouts, and org‑wide updates.
- Translate complex technical and strategic content into clear, compelling narratives tailored for audiences ranging from engineers to senior leaders.
- Develop templates, frameworks, and visual systems to support recurring meetings, program updates, and strategic reviews.
- Apply strong information‑design principles to simplify data, architecture, processes, and roadmaps.
- Draft communications that support technology initiatives and organizational change, including:
- Tech‑wide announcements and updates
- Transformation program messaging
- Org design and operating model communications
- Vision, roadmap, and strategy walkthroughs
- Talking points and briefings for leaders
- Ensure messaging clarity, alignment, and consistency across audiences and channels.
- Partner with comms and technology leaders to develop messaging architectures.
- Support technology transformation efforts with OCM deliverables such as:
- Stakeholder analyses
- Communication plans and timelines
- Adoption and engagement materials
- Training and enablement content
- Change impact summaries and readiness assessments
- Translate change strategy into actionable communications that drive understanding, adoption, and engagement across the technology organization.
- Partner with program leadership to ensure stakeholders are informed and prepared throughout change cycles.
- Create high‑quality strategy artifacts including playbooks, operating models, roadmaps, one‑pagers, vision documents, and thought‑leadership content.
- Synthesize inputs from cross‑functional partners into unified, executive‑friendly deliverables.
- Support quarterly business reviews, planning cycles, technology transformation portfolios, and leadership offsites.
- Design high‑quality visual assets, including frameworks, diagrams, infographics, and communication visuals.
- Convert complex technical concepts into intuitive, visually aligned diagrams and storytelling pages.
- Use tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other design platforms to elevate clarity and impact.
- Maintain brand alignment across all materials.
- Engage with stakeholders across the technology organization to gather inputs and drive alignment.
- Manage intake requests, prioritize deadlines, and deliver polished materials on tight timelines.
- Operate with discretion when handling strategic and confidential information.
- 5+ years in executive communications, internal communications, tech strategy storytelling, or similar roles.
- Experience working within technology, engineering, or product organizations.
- Advanced presentation design and narrative development capabilities (PowerPoint required).
- Strong writing, editing, and content‑framing skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex or ambiguous concepts into clear structures and visuals.
- Experience supporting organizational change initiatives with communication deliverables.
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid environment with onsite collaboration in Irving, TX.
