Data Science Manager, Data Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with hands‑on experience in Data Science, Engineering delivery, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and client stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will lead cross‑functional teams, ensure seamless execution of data and engineering initiatives, and deliver outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Project & Delivery ManagementLead end‑to‑end delivery of Data Science, ML, and Engineering projects.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve roadblocks.
Ensure high‑quality, timely delivery across all phases—from requirements to deployment.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Maintain and optimize Jira boards, metrics, and project visibility.
Promote Agile best practices and continuous delivery improvements.
Technical CoordinationCollaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software teams.
Understand data workflows, ML model life cycles, and dependencies.
Translate technical concepts into actionable tasks for execution.
Support design discussions and technical decision‑making.
Client & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the main client contact for updates and issue resolution.
Gather and align requirements to meet business expectations.
Conduct regular status meetings, demos, and reviews.
Build relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
Documentation & ReportingPrepare project documentation, dashboards, and executive reports.
Track KPIs, sprint velocity, and program performance.
Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans transparently.
Required Skills & Experience10+ years of Project/Program Management experience.
Strong background in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data Engineering projects.
Understanding of datasets, model life cycles, and data workflows.
Hands‑on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
Excellent client communication and executive presentation skills.
Proven ability to drive alignment across multiple teams.
Strong problem‑solving, organization, and decision‑making skills.
