Senior Application Security Engineer

Irving, TX (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer for a hybrid opportunity in Irving, TX. The selected candidate will conduct security assessments across mobile, IoT, and AI platforms and work closely with engineering and Dev Ops teams to strengthen application security controls.

• Round 2:
  In-Person Interview at client office in Irving, TX (Mandatory)

• Conduct security assessments for iOS, Android, IoT, and AI systems
• Evaluate security posture and provide risk reduction recommendations
• Support implementation and troubleshooting of security tooling (SAST, DAST, MAST, OSS, API security)
• Participate in architecture security reviews for applications and services
• Apply cryptographic standards including PKI, X.509, TLS, OAuth, SAML, RSA key management
• Ensure secure transmission protection (SSL certificates, encryption, container security)
• Perform threat modeling and attack surface analysis
• Identify and mitigate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
• Support Secure SDLC practices including reverse engineering, obfuscation, and tamper-resistant development

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Application Security
• Strong experience in mobile application security testing and remediation
• Experience securing large-scale IoT, Mobile, or AI deployments
• Expertise in Secure SDLC practices
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and cryptographic algorithms
• Knowledge of exploits, threat modeling, and attack surface analysis

• Development experience in Swift, Java, Scala, Python, or C/C++
• Mobile, IoT, or AI development background
• Experience with NIST, ISO
  27001, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, eMAPT, or equivalent
