Overview
Process Automation Services (PAS), a technology arm of Citi's Foundational Services, delivers engineering, infrastructure, and third-party automation tools. These enable Citi businesses to automate tasks, business process management, data transformation and EUC remediations.
RoleThe PAS Cloud Architect is responsible for leading a variety of cloud architectural and engineering activities including the analysis of functional requirements, solutions design, evaluation of different options and presenting comparative analysis along with recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Architecture Strategy:
Develop and implement the public cloud architecture strategy for third-party process automation tools, fostering secure, enterprise-wide public cloud adoption at Citi. - Innovation & Automation:
Enhance client satisfaction and business value through initiating and developing process improvement and automation projects. - Strategic Partnerships:
Forge collaborations across Citi's technology ecosystem to align with business growth goals and priorities. - Engineering Standards:
Establish quantifiable success metrics and regularly evaluate service availability and reliability. Compliance Leadership:
Ensure adherence to relevant standards, policies, and regulations, consistently evaluating risks to Citi's reputation, clients, and assets.
- We are seeking a talented Cloud Architect with proven engineering leadership, deep public cloud expertise, and a passion for engineering best practices. You should possess:
- 8+ years of Cloud Engineering experience, with a deep understanding of public cloud services adoption at scale.
- Expert-level understanding of AWS/GCP, including Kubernetes Container Platforms like AWS EKS and GCP GKE.
- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Expert-level understanding of networking concepts such as VPN/DNS and Firewall configurations.
- Expertise in migrating on-premise platforms to public cloud.
- Ability to develop strategies for integrating on-premise and public cloud platforms.
- Experience in driving CI/CD initiatives aligned with Citi's integrated governance strategy.
- Architectural experience with third-party low-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega) and other ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile Development, Dev Ops, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Experience evaluating complex requirements and rationalizing them into a consistent service offering.
- Proficiency in emerging technologies, particularly the application of AI to replace Low-Code/No-Code tools, is a significant advantage.
